The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc parliamentarian addressed an audience of Hezbollah and Amal movement supporters during a political meeting in Qana-South Lebanon.

"Israel will not venture into an uncertain war on Lebanon after its bitter experience with Hezbollah in 2006," stressed the MP, in reference to "Israel's war against Lebanon in July of 2006, which led to massive destruction in Lebanon and the death of over 1000 Lebanese.

The MP attributed all changes in the Arab world to the "victory of Hezbollah in 2006."

On a domestic level, Fayad insisted on the preservation of Christian presence in Lebanon as a "moral and civil necessity." He also called upon political factions to save the country from "Sunni-Shiite" strife.
