Secretary of 38th Islamic Unity Conference appointed

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has appointed the secretary of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference.

On the sideline of the meeting of deputies, Dr Hamid Shahriari introduced Ali Moti’ei as the secretary of the upcoming Islamic Unity Conference, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The 38th Islamic Unity Conference will be held in mid-September, concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
The annual Islamic event is a platform for prominent Muslim scholars from across the globe to meet and discuss the latest issues in the world of Islam.
 
The event is held during a week ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) which is popularly known as Islamic Unity Week, an initiation by the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini (RA).
