Cleric hails expansion of relations between Iran, Iraq shrines

The custodian of Imam Reza shrine in Iran has called bilateral cooperation and exchange of knowledge between the holy shrines in Iran and Iraq as means for better services for the pilgrims.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Marvi has stressed the significance of exchanging experience and knowledge among the shrines in Iran and Iraq, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) reported Astan News as saying.
 
The Iranian cleric made the remark in a visit to the holy shrines of Imam Ali shrine in Najaf, Imam Hussain shrine in Karbala, and those in Samarra and Kadhimiya.

The senior cleric sat for talks with heads of the holy shrines in the Arab country highlighted some advancements made by Imam Reza shrine in cultural, scientific and social services fields in the past decades.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Marvi also expressed gratitude for the Iraqi officials, nation and particularly senior Iraqi Shia jurist, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani, for expressing solidarity with the Islamic Republic over the helicopter crash that murdered Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and delegation of officials.
