“Support for Palestine should go beyond words”, cleric

The deputy for International Pilgrims Affairs at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) has called for practical support for Palestine.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Zolfaghari, highlighted Iran’s support for the Palestinian nation stressing that support for Palestine must not be a mere slogan, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) reported Astan News as saying.
 
Iranian cleric made the comments in a meeting with a delegation of Palestinian officials and managers visiting the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), eighth Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad.
 
A member of the Palestinian delegation appreciated the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei for constant support for the Palestinian nation.
 
Still another Palestinian official lauded the assassinated IRGC commander of Quds Force, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani for years of counter-terrorism campaign fighting Israeli regime and Daesh terrorist group.
 
He also offered condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian president Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran.
 
 
The group of some 35 Palestinian officials and managers paid visit to Imam Reza (AS) shrine to extend condolences for the martyrdom of late President Raeisi.
