“Unity, a pillar of Islam and a key objective of religion”

Seyyed Abbas Salehi in his remarks at the opening ceremony of Islamic proximity instructors’ training course called unity as a pillar of Islam and a key objective of religion, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” The international university of Islamic Denominations should base its ambiance and schedules based on its social responsibility.”

Still in another part of his remarks he referred to the fourth generation of universities and said,” Social benefits of the new generation of universities should be maintained and knowledge should be at service of the social benefits.”

Also, Molavi Es’haq Madani, head of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in his opening speech said,” Islam is based on unity and the key measure by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was to build fraternity among Muslims.”

He noted that all disagreements over the guardian and leader of the people after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) were settled for Muslims from all denominations to unite because the major objective was to protect Islam.

Iranian cultural and religious figures made the remarks at a ceremony to launch the first round of Islamic proximity instructors’ course held in the capital Tehran on Saturday.
