Iranian president’s advisor in religious minority affairs counted the duties of religious scholars towards the issue of Palestine urging them to highlight the common axes of Islamic nation.

Mamusta Abdul Salam Karimi, in his speech at the second international conference to commemorate Quds Day counted lack of clear explanation and extremism as issues leading to most damages to Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” This is a responsibility for us (religious scholars) to highlight the common axes in the Islamic nation, including holy Quds, and to stand against the oppressors.”
 
The cleric added,” We should boost the feeling of responsibility in the society and stand up to defend the oppressed people.”
 
Mamusta Karimi called Palestine the number one issue in the world of Islam and noted,” If we ignore the issue of Palestine today, we would be forgetting Ka’aba tomorrow.”
 
Iranian Sunni cleric warned of the enemies seeking disintegration of Iran, as they did for other countries and urged for resistance against enemies of Iran and enlighten the people against them.
 
Mamusta Abdul Salam Karimi expressed his views in the second international conference on “Liberation of Palestine” held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the capital Tehran.
 
Religious figures, activists and elites expressed their views on the issue of Palestine in this conference held on Sunday in the wake of the International Quds Day.
