37th International Islamic Unity Conference to award special proximity prize

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed satisfaction over the level of 36th International Islamic Unity Conference announcing that the next edition of the annual meeting will award special proximity prize.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari at the end of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) expressed satisfaction over the quality of the meeting due to the high level of participants and also the end of pandemic infection and lifting the restrictions.
 
He referred to the new process for invitation of the elites to the Islamic Unity Conference and said,” A part of the guests were invited after an assessment and the present number were chosen based on their scientific qualifications from 830 registered in the first step.
 
When asked if a team from World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will review the views of participants in order to improve the next editions of the annual meeting he said,” A proposal derived from the reviews by participants which was approved by the supreme council is awarding “proximity special prize.”
 
The permanent secretariat of the Islamic Unity Conference was former six months ago and it will immediately begin work on the 37th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference.”
 
The 36th International Islamic Unity Conference has just ended its work as more than 150 Muslim elites and thinkers from different Islamic denominations attended 14 virtual meetings besides the in-presence section of the conference held in the capital Tehran from 12-14 October, 2022.
