Sayed Abd o Alqader Behjat Al Aloosi, expert on religious issues, Iraq, delivered his speech on identifying the reasons of discords, on 36th International Islamic Unity Conference.

Iraqi expert expressed that all Muslims have history, faith, divine messenger, divine book and Qibla in common that we should protect them through unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“The Islamic Ummah has been called to hold fast to the Almighty God’s cord. But the first step to this end is to identify the divine cord; the identification that is considered as a pressing need for all of us as Muslims” he said.
 
Referring to common views and approaches of Muslims, he noted “Out of the issues that we share we can refer to Tawhid and the Holy Quran that as a bridge connects us to the Almighty God. We also share the same views on the Holy Prophet's Sunnah and His pure Progeny.”
 
“In fact, this divine cord is symbolic reading for reaching to the Almighty God and His desires that is shared by all Muslims therefore, all Muslims are need to follow it and all members of the Islamic Ummah shall move towards this divine cord”, he added.
 
“While we are striving in favor of promotion of unity, we need to make every effort in dealing with all the issues that might give rise to division and disunity amongst us” Al Aloosi concluded.
 
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the 36th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference for October 9-11 ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) also known as the Islamic Unity Week.
