Fariba Alasvand, member of the Faculty of Women and Family Research Institute stressed on the necessity of the understanding of Islamic tolerance and dialogues on 36th Islamic Unity Conference.
Necessity of dialogues for understanding of Islamic tolerance
Member of the Faculty of Women and Family Research Institute addressed in her speech to the understanding of Islamic tolerance that Islam calls for this, even with the people of the Book, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“The existence of religious dialogues and discourse in an argumentative space, without any prejudice, is a necessity to realize the rational tolerance that Islam seeks; and I believe that this dialogue can happen and realize with the initiatives of official Islamic institutions in countries as well as informal institutions”, she said.
 
Alasvand referred to second point of the discussion of Islamic tolerance which is focusing on issues that are inherently common between all Islamic schools of thought and noted “Spreading love of Ahl al-Bayt between the new generations of Muslims will never cause the Muslim community to suffer from the many divisions and violence that the enemies of Islam want to happen.”
 
Member of the Faculty of Women and Family Research Institute said that the ethics of tolerance and patience as third point is needed in religious dialogues noting that “Giving love to Allah's servants is one of the important axes in the ethics of tolerance and patience.”

World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought holds the annual Islamic Unity Conference at the week concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Muslim scholars, thinkers as well as religious and political figures from across the globe discuss the latest issues in the world of Islam at the different sections of the meeting.
