Parliament Speaker says Nakba Day marking Zionists
This day in the history of Palestine is called Nakba Day" or "the day of misery".
"Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf", Speaker of Iran's parliament, said on Sunday in his pre-agenda speech that Nakba Day and the proclamation of the illegitimate existence of the usurping Zionist regime are reminiscent of over 7 decades of occupation, genocide, cruelty and crimes of the Zionists and the displacement of the Palestinians and the occupation of their lands.
Qalibaf added: "On the eve of this very day, the martyrdom of the Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh by the criminals of the Zionist regime once again revealed the depth of the brutality of this regime in the eyes of the people of the world."

The Speaker also said: "I offer my condolences on the martyrdom of this brave journalist to all those who believe in the Palestinian's cause, especially the members of the resistance media, and I strongly condemn this unfortunate incident."
"Any escalation of violence in the occupied territories by the criminal Zionist occupiers will lead to stronger reactions from those who are loyal to the Palestinian cause," the parliamentarian noted.
Al Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh was shot in the head by Zionist militants while covering the Zionist attack on the Jenin camp in the northwest of the Jordan River.
