Speaking in his weekly presser, Saeed Khatibzadeh referred to the travel of Enrique Mora, the EU's deputy foreign policy chief and coordinator of the talks in Vienna, to Tehran and said: "The talks in Vienna have continued uninterrupted until now. There was a stop in Vienna, but the messages were exchanged through the talks' coordinator."
"Mora's visit to Tehran shows that negotiations are underway. He is also scheduled to meet with Mr. Bagheri, the head of the Iranian negotiating team, in Tehran," Khatibzadeh highlighted.
"Despite the anti-diplomatic actions of the Senate and the US Congress, Iran and the P4 + 1 have been committed to diplomacy and reaching a good and reliable agreement." If the United States returns what it took from us and accepts that it has violated Iranians' rights, we can resume talks as soon as Mora returns to Vienna," the diplomat noted.
Khatibzadeh confirmed the visit of the Emir of Qatar to Tehran and said: "This visit will take place soon and the agenda is to discuss bilateral and regional issues. After this trip, the President of Iran is scheduled to travel to one of the countries in the Persian Gulf.
