The Qatari ambassador in Tehran met with the governor of the Central Bank of Iran(CBI) and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Mostafa Ghamarivafa, Director of Public Relations of the Central Bank of Iran tweeted on Sunday,
"In the meeting of Mohammed Ben Hamad Al-Hajri. Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Islamic Republic of Iran with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Ali Salehabadi, the development of bilateral relations between the two countries' banks and international cooperation was emphasized."
 
Qatar and Iran have had extensive diplomatic and economic relations for many years, and the leaders of both countries have always emphasized the deepening of these relations in various fields. During their travels between the two countries, senior officials of the two countries have sought practical solutions to strengthen relations between them.
