The Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has started to synchronize its power grid with Qatar.

The Minister of Energy added: "During the recent visit of President Raisi to Doha, a document connecting the electricity network between Iran and Qatar was signed, and its studies and implementation will begin soon."
Regarding the connection of Iran's power grid to Russia through the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mehrabian said: "We hope that in the next year, with the realization of these connections, Iran's electricity network will be more stable and exchanges will reach their maximum."
According to the Minister of Energy, Iran's electricity exports are 80% higher than imports.
