Iran eying on Qatar as lucrative market for export of agro-food products

The Deputy Chairman of the Non-Oil Export Promotion Commission of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce has underlined that Qatar is a suitable market for Iranian agricultural and food products.

Mousavi noted that Qatar and Oman help the economic balance among the Persian Gulf countries, adding: "The development of trade with these countries can increase exports and imports."
The Vice Chairman of the Non-Oil Export Promotion Commission of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, emphasizing that these two countries are active in world political maps, stated: "With the development of political interactions that took place during the visit of President Ebrahim Raisi to Qatar, we can also experience the expansion of exchanges in the economic field."
Referring to the signing of several memoranda of understanding during the Iranian president's visit to Qatar, Mousavi said: "These agreements between the two countries can have a positive impact on the development of trade and increase the country's non-oil exports."
 
Referring to the establishment of an Iranian commercial office in Qatar, the official went on to say that this is an important event that can stabilize the market in this country and provide more accurate planning to economic actors by completing and sharing information.
