Nasrallah receives deputy intl of Qom Islamic Seminary

Sayyed Hassan expressed his gratitude for Shiite sources of emulation in Qom.
On his trip to Lebanon, Deputy International of the Iranian Islamic Seminary had a meeting with Hezbollah Leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in which the Lebanese cleric expressed his gratitude for Shia Sources of emulation's efforts and concerns regarding the international affairs.

According to Hawzah, Hujjat al-Islam Zamani, Deputy International of the Islamic Seminary discussed with Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on present issues in the Islamic world.

The Lebanese cleric expressed his deep gratitude for the efforts done by all Shia Sources of Emulation in Iran regarding international issues; he also went on to appreciate Shia clerics' awareness on the global events which is manifested through their vigillant position taking, issuing statements and supporting the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.

During the three-hour-long friendly meeting, both sides discussed cooperation on preventing the spread of Takfiri thoughts; they also brought up the issue of proximity among Islamic denominations as well as the possible ways for the Islamic nations to unite in their fight against such threats.

Elsewhere in their meeting, the clerics highlighted the necessity to introduce and promote the moderate and rational version of Islam to the world. Clearing up the Takfiri misgivings regarding True Islam and its teachings was another topic in their meeting.

Both sides stressed on expanding the cooperation between Qom seminary and Hezbollah in different areas including cultural, religious and revolutionary affairs.

It must be noted that during his trip to Lebanon, Hujjat al-Islam Zamani visited Ayatollah Abd-al-Amir Qabalan, Vice Chairman of the Lebanese Shiite Council. He also met with members of Central Council for Lebanese Muslim Ulama as well as the Leadership Council of Islamic Action Front.
