According to Rasa, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi referred to the Iranian nuclear issue and said that Iran’s negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries are vital and strategic for Iran.
Qom’s Friday prayers’ leader continued by explaining that in addition to the production of nuclear energy, uranium can be used in a variety of uses – including in the field of medicine and the production of radiopharmaceuticals, agriculture and the desalinization of sea water. Thus, Iran’s nuclear negotiating team must protect this industry.
His Eminence referred to the fatwa (religious edict) issued by Iran’s Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, who in regard to the manufacture and use of nuclear weapons said Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons because they are religiously and rationally prohibited, and such weapons are not in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s best interests.
Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi said Iran seeks with a good agreement, therefore any agreement cannot ignore with the dignity and rights of the Iranian people and the Iranian will severely resist all foreign intervention. “All sanctions must be cancelled in one stage on the same day as a final agreement is signed,” he stressed.
He also referred to the bitter events that have taken place against Iranian pilgrims at the hands of Saudi airport officials, saying: “This indecent incident indicates that the House of Saud are not qualified to manage the Two Holy Mosques [of Makkah and Madinah] and do not deserve to serve the pilgrims."
His Eminence also pointed to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing crimes in Yemen, saying that just as during early Islamic history when the Kharijites were used as tools in the hands of the enemies of the Ahlul-Bayt (A) to usurp their divine right of leadership and insert heresies and deviant beliefs into Islam, today we have the Wahhabi sect which is being used as a tool in the hands of the Zionists and Americans in order to stab Islam and Muslims in the back.
The Saudi-led attack on the innocent Yemeni people has continued for more than twenty days but they have not gained anything from it. We will witness that the Yemeni revolutionaries [Ansarullah] will be continue their advance on different areas.
Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi said that to compensate for their failure in Yemen, Saudi Arabia has requested the assistance of other countries like Pakistan and Turkey. Fortunately, these countries declined to answer the Saudi’s request which hit the House of Saud hard. That which is happening in Yemen is a human tragedy, and a genocide. Like the crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza, the House of Saud will suffer a disgraceful and humiliating defeat at the hands of the Muslim people of Yemen.
