Ansarullah, part of Islamic Resistance Axis: Lebanese cleric

"Yemen’s Ansarullah movement is part of the Islamic Resistance Axis," said Secretary General of Lebanon’s Union of Scholars, stressing Saudi Arabia is doing the bidding of Israel in this war.

“Those who have made these claims do not know me,” mentioned the cleric adding that the reason for the influence of the statements of such individuals are due to the independence and freedom of opinion in the Muslim world.

Shaykh Hammoud said if any Arabic country would confront the Zionist regime, he would back them with all his strength. The religious cleric went on to add, “Over the past few years, the Iranian authorities have always stayed away from arrogance and resisted he Zionist regime.”

Secretary General of Lebanon’s Union of Scholars stated that the House of Saud is cruel and unjust , emphasizing no religious scholar would support the Saudi-led invasion and aggression on Yemen.

Shaykh Hammoud explained that Ansarullah [also known as the Houthis] is part of the “Resistance Axis” and that Saud Arabia is part of the United States’ and Israel’s front because all that Saudi Arabia has done has been in the service of the Zionist regime. Since their invasion of Yemen began, we have seen the Zionist-controlled media has been supportive and satisfied with their operation.

The scholar from Sidon added that Saudi Arabia’s goals in Yemen are like their actions in Syria – they are Israel’s goals, in reality. “If Syria signed an agreement with Israel and did not stand against the US, they would not be dealing with the problems they have today,” he explained.
