Islamic countries' participation in Int'l Fajr Film Festival

Secretariat of the 33rd International Fajr Film Festival, in the Iranian capital of Tehran, highlighted the wide participation of Islamic countries in the event saying that holding the international section of the festival separately from the national section has injected a new breath into the annual artistic event.

Alireza Rezadad, secretariat of the 33rd International Fajr Film Festival, hailed the acceptable rate of film production in Iran and said some economic limitations has led Iranian directors and producers to make the best of global capacities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He announced that the film "Mohammad (PBUH)", directed by Iran's Majid Majidi will be specially screened at the demand of a group of foreign participants in this event.
 
The secretariat of Fajr Film Festival also announced that 33rd International Fajr Film Festival will be held in three sections of competitive, non-competitive and a review of the works in which 11 non Iranian participants from Asia and the world of Islam are to attend.
 
Alireza Rezadad referred to meetings of regional countries which are to be held on the sideline of the 33rd International Fajr Film Festival participated with representatives from Syria, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and Egypt.
