"Israeli" Aggressions

Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farmers

TNA - Beirut
Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farmers
Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in Azmut village to the east of Nablus on Saturday morning and prevented from collecting their olive crops.

Ghassan Daghlas, in charge of monitoring settlement activity north of the West Bank, said that tens of settlers along with their dogs attacked the farmers and prevented their work in collecting olives despite the presence of earlier coordination.

The farmers engaged in heated debates and fistfights with the settlers but no casualties were reported.

In a related context, occupation municipality employees on Thursday handed demolition notices to a number of residents of the Lauza neighbourhood in Silwan district to the south of the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem. The notices had "administrative demolition notice" written on them.

Amongst the families that received a notice is the Abbasi family according to local sources.

The sources added that the municipality employees and the accompanying IOF troops headed towards the Wadi Ysoul in Silwan and took photos of homes, open areas and fields.

This new aggression on Palestinian property in Silwan comes after the Zionist high court gave Elad, a settler organisation, control of "government lands" and parks in Silwan.
