Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - Abdul Karim Ali assured all concerned sides that Syria was on the way to comprehensive reform.

"Syria is studying things closely and welcomes all well-intentioned efforts. It is en route to reform via internal dialogue," he said following a visit to former Prime Minister Salim Hoss.

Despite the Arab foreign ministers decision not to suspend Syria from their regional organization last Sunday, they urged the government and opposition to negotiate an end to the violence within a period not exceeding 15 days.

Syria's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ambassador Youssef Ahmad on Sunday announced Syria's reservation on the Arab League's resolution part and parcel, including its wording and particularly naming Qatar's prime minister and foreign minister as head of the Arab Ministerial Committee.

The Syrian diplomat said that there are substantial reasons and considerations related to the biased and negative role played by Qatar both in terms of politics and media towards the events in Syria which constitute escalation and instigation against Syria and distortion of the facts regarding what is actually happening in it.
