Turkish movement offers condolences over martyrdom of Iranian officials in helicopter crash

The secretary general of the unity and fraternity movement in Turkey has condoled with the Iranian nation and government following the deadly helicopter crash that martyred a delegation of Iranian officials including President Raeisi.

Hasan Kanaatli, in a message condoled with the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of thought, Dr Hamid Shahriari and the deputy of Iran affairs, Mohsen Meschi, over the recent martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions in the helicopter crash in northwest Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
 
He hailed the late officials for “wearing the medal of martyrdom” around their necks calling that a reward for their struggles for the cause of justice.
 
 
A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions including Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Malek Rahmati, the governor of East Azarbaijan province crashed in the mountains in northwest of the country killing all those onboard.
 
 
Iran declared five days of national mourning as millions of people across the country attended the massive funeral processions held in different cities.
 
 
High-ranking delegations, officials and ambassadors from across the globe offered condolences to Iranian government and nation.
