Millions of mourners attend the funeral ceremony held in downtown Tehran to bid farewell with President Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions martyred in Sunday helicopter crash.

People from across the country have been arriving in the capital to observe the third day of five-day national mourning for martyrdom of President Raeisi and his companions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
A massive ceremony was held on Tuesday morning in the city of Tabriz and in the afternoon people in the holy city of Qom paid tribute to the martyrs of the copter crash.
 
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will be laid to rest in the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdol Azim in southern Tehran.
 
The boy of President Raeisi will be transferred to Iran’s northeastern holy city of Mashhad for the final funeral ceremony and burial at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
