85-year-old Yocheved Lifshitz, who was freed Monday night by Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, says her captors treated the detainees “very well and humanely.”

In a press interview on Tuesday, Lifshitz said: “When we arrived in Gaza, they immediately assured us that, as they believe in the Qur’an, they would not harm us.”

“A paramedic and a doctor visited us and made sure we had our regular medications. They were very keen on our health. We had a doctor who visited us almost twice a week in order to check on us,” she added.

“They were so kind and made sure that we ate well. They shared us their food. We were treated very well as they paid attention to every detail. We were accompanied by women who demonstrated a real concern over our health and feminine hygiene and guaranteed that we had everything we needed,” she said.

The freed Israeli old woman recalled that Hamas had planned everything prior to the operation as they took care of everything that would be needed, even the shampoos.

The two Israeli women, Nurit Cooper, 79, and Yocheved Lifshitz, 85 were released by Palestinian resistance movement on humanitarian bases and were handed over to Israeli military on Monday night.
