Pakistani professor quoted the Islamic view that a person cannot be a true believer until he likes for others what he likes for himself and said,” This shows that the first humane value bestowed to man is to have a feeling of kindness and goodness towards others.  If a person does not have such a feeling, he is not a Muslim.”

According to professor Seyedah Masoud Shah, Islam’s main goal is to help man acquire ethics and moral principles.

She also underlined the universal message of Islam saying,” By emphasizing human principles, Islam forbids people from any kind of prejudice and encroaching on the rights of others and that is all due to the fact that Islam has a humane concept and a universal moral message.”

The Pakistani researcher exchanged her viewpoints in an address to the religious figures and scholars attending the 11th webinar of the Islamic Unity Conference 2023.

The 37th Islamic Unity Conference is underway in the capital Tehran as a number of Shia and Sunni scholars attend the webinars and the meeting to be held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
