The President stated, "Iran has made significant progress in the field of science, technology and industry, despite the pressures and extensive sanctions, and as a technological country, it is ready to exchange its achievements and capabilities with Colombia".

Referring to the records of the two countries in the fight against drug trade, the President expressed his readiness to exchange experiences in this field with Colombia and added, "Despite many claims, the domination-seeking powers are actually the main supporters of drug production and trade".
Referring to the interest expressed by the ambassador of Colombia to expand cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of science, technology, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, industry and agriculture, Dr Raisi said, "Iran has made significant progress in the field of science, technology and industry despite the pressures and extensive sanctions. As a technological country, it is ready to exchange its achievements and capabilities with Colombia".
In this meeting, the non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Colombia also expressed his condolences and sympathies with the government and people of Iran for the terrorist attack on the shrine of Shahcheragh (PBUH) and stated that the development of economic interactions and trade exchanges with the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the priorities of Colombia.
He pointed out, "The two countries have 15 bilateral cooperation documents with each other, and I hope that by strengthening diplomatic relations, the implementation of these documents will be accelerated"
