Huj. Shahriari offers condolence over passing of top Iranian cleric

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to offer condolence over passing of senior Shia cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Yadollah Rahimian.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in his message expressed regret over loss of the pious scholar and revolutionary figure, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed the late scholar for loyalty to jurisprudence and prayed for the best blessings of the Almighty God for the deceased cleric.
 
In his message, Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari addressed Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, guardian of Jamkaran Mosque and son of the deceased scholar.
 
Ayatollah Sheikh Yadollah Rahimian was a graduate of Isfahan and Qom seminary. He was a loyal follower of late Imam Khomeini (RA) since early days of the Islamic Revolution. An advocate of the late Imam and a number of prominent jurists in Islamic funds, the late scholar attended some popular religious lectures on the local radio in Isfahan. He founded a number of mosques and a seminary for women in the central Iranian city.
