Qur’an burning, an Israeli move in line with Islamophobia

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought called on the world Muslim clerics to issue statements regarding the Swedish and Danish governments issuing permission for the recent desecration of holy Qur’an.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari said the recent cases of Qur’an burning in Sweden and Denmark are measures led by Israeli regime in line with Islamophobia because enemies are scared of unity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He made the remarks in meeting with Aqil Munawar, former minister of religious affairs in the Indonesian capital Jakarta expressing gratitude over meeting with an international Qur’an competition judge.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari said the world of Islam is in need of new Sharia laws in order to tackle the modern issues.
 
He also warned of Qur’an burning instances across Europe and vowed the perpetrators will be punished for their conduct.
 
He urged for cooperation in the world of Islam in order to condemn such blasphemous moves by a number of ignorant people.
