Muslim scholars unanimously agree severest punishment for desecrator of holy Qur’an

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has issued a message to condemn the recent desecration of holy Qur’an as “dark, conspiratorial and threatening” act stressing that Muslim scholars unanimously agree on the “severest punishment” for the perpetrator of the incident.

Ayatollah Khamenei also called on the Swedish government to hand in the perpetrator to the judicial system in the Islamic countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The Leader said that any Support by the Swedish government for the criminal perpetrator is tantamount to a battle array against the entire world of Islam that will bring them hostility and hatred of the Muslim nations.
 
“The (Swedish) government is obliged to hand in the perpetrator to the judicial system of the Islamic countries” noted the leader and added,” Those intriguing behind the scenes should know that the esteem for the holy Qur’an will increase every day.”
 
Ayatollah Khamenei concluded that the perpetrators of the incident are more nugatory than undermining the radiance of the holy book of Islam.
 
The Leader issued the message after a Sweden-based Iraqi refugee desecrated the Muslim holy book during a demonstration outside the Iraqi embassy in Stockholm amid strict protection provided by the Swedish police.
The appalling act has enraged millions of Muslims worldwide prompting massive rallies in different Islamic countries.
