Huj. Shahriari offers condolences over passing of Imam Achmad Cassim

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to express condolences over the passing of prominent South African scholar Imam Achmad Cassim.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his message hailed Imam Achamd Cassim, the founder of Qibla Movement for his devoted struggles to promote Islamic unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Imam Achamd Cassim was a follower of the leader of Islamic revolution Imam Khomeini (RA) who responded to his call for promoting the International Quds Day.”
 
The Iranian cleric lauded the South African scholar for promoting justice, human rights and dignity who spent his life in opposition with the Apartheid, injustice and oppression.
 
Imam Achmad Cassim was a devoted member of the Pan Africanist Congress, a founding member of the Islamic Unity Conference, and a member of the Islamic Human Rights Commission.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari offered sympathy with the South Africa Muslims, friends and the bereaved family of the late scholar.
