Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian says the legacy of Imam Khomeini will remain in movement towards a new world order.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remark in a post on his Instagram account on Sunday to commemorate the 34th passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini.
He said Imam Khomeini's character has stood up firmly against various types of malice and conspiracies as well as the propaganda employed by the sworn enemies of the Iranian and other free nations of the world.
The legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic is the current movement towards a new world order under the wise guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the minister said.
Amir-Abdollahian said Imam Khomeini and his school of monotheism changed the thoughts and hearts of the free and free-thinking people in Iran and across the world. It challenged the system of global dictatorship and dominance, he said.
As announced by Ayatollah Khamenei, faith and hope have been the driving force of such a "huge and history-making" development, Amir-Abdollahian wrote.
