Iran to mark Palestinian journalist Shireem Abu Akleh
The media deputy of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has scheduled to hold a festival in memorial of Sheerin Abu Akleh with a focus on women and media, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The decision comes amid intensifying Israeli regime atrocities indiscriminately targeting the civilians and resistance fighters as well as the press crew covering the developments in the occupied lands.

The festival will be entitled "Khorsheed" (the Sun) and will welcome the journalists across the world to participate in the event and show their solidarity and strength.

Shireen Abu Akleh was a journalist working in the heart of danger for a quarter of a century to shed light on the crimes committed by the Israeli regime against the Palestinians.

Israeli regime has martyred more than a hundred journalists since its establishment after occupying Palestine and has never been held accountable for any of its crimes.
