The purpose-built architectural structure, Ramadan Pavilion, evokes an abstracted mosque to represent the history of Islamic holy site and Muslims in Britain, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Designed by Shahed Saleem, architecture and teacher at the University of Westminster School of Architecture, aims to celebrate the lived experiences of Muslims across the UK and globe during the holiest month of the Islamic calendar.

The 2023 Ramadan Pavilion is designed as an assemblage of architectural parts drawn from the V&A collection of drawings and photographs of historic Islamic architecture.
 
Ramadan Tent Project is an award-winning charity established in 2013 with a mission of bringing communities together and developing the understanding of Ramadan.
 
It organizes the annual Ramadan Festival, which is a collection of artistic, cultural, creative events to inspire and engage audiences from all backgrounds, in addition to the UK’s largest community event in Ramadan, Open Iftar.
