Arab countries condemn Qur’an desecration in Denmark
Arab countries have unanimously condemned the latest instance of Qur’n burning in Denmark warning the western governments on repercussions of issuing permission for such heinous measures.

Arab countries have issued statements to denounce the recent desecration of Qur’an by far-right Danish group and stressed that the dual stance by claimants of freedom is shameful, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Members of a far-right Danish group called “Patrioterne Gar Live” have burnt a copy of holy Qur’an and Turkish flag on Friday drawing much condemnation from different Islamic countries.
Jordan and Qatar have condemned the move as a provocative measure that irked Muslims in the fasting month of Ramadan warning against other anti-Islam provocations in the European country.
Jordanian Foreign Minister has issued a statement against the racist and provocative measure as a dangerous hostility and a manifest of Islamophobia.
Qatari Foreign Minister has also warned,” This heinous move is a serious provocation for sentiments of more than two billion Muslims across the globe especially in the fasting month of Ramadan.”
Qatar also warned that to authorize desecration of holy Qur’an under the pretext of freedom of expression fuels hatred and violence, endangers coexistence and reveals the shameful dual policies.
Saudi Foreign Minister issued a statement to condemn the measure by far-right group in Denmark and stressed importance of boosting dialogue, reconciliation and mutual respect.
Morocco and Kuwait also, in separate statements, blasted the desecration of holy Qur’an, particularly in the fasting month of Ramadan.
Foreign Ministry of the United Arab Emirates highlighted its opposite stance with any behavior that target security and go against moral and human values.
Far-right Danish group Patrioterne Gar Live has published video on its Facebook account that showed the members of the group burning a copy of holy Qur’an and Turkish flag on Friday and also shouting mottos against Islam in Copenhagen.
