Settlers attack Palestinians, deny them access into their lands near Hebron

Extremist Israeli settlers today assaulted Palestinians in the village of Al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, and blocked their access into their own lands, according to local sources.

He added that over the past 10 years, Israeli settlers have cut off more than 700 olive trees for colonial settlement construction purposes.

Over 600,000 Israeli settlers live in Jewish-only settlements in the occupied West Bank in violation of international law, mainly the Fourth Geneva Convention which states that the occupying entity may not resettle its civil population into the land of the occupied.
