Foreign women who participated in the congress were active in various sectors, including science, research, innovation, economics, healthcare, arts, social, environment, and the media.

The event is an effort to make connections between the women influential in international arena with their Iranian counterparts in order to create a synergy for the further development of the country.
In a meeting with high-ranking guests participating in the congress on Thursday evening, President Ebrahim Raisi expressed his satisfaction with the Islamic Republic of Iran's hosting of influential women from different countries, saying: "I hope that the women present at the meeting will be able to take a decisive step to achieve women's rights in the world."
Raisi stated that today in western countries, despite claiming to support and respect women's rights, they are violated in many cases, adding: "According to the published statistics in the US and British media, many women are killed by the police of these countries every year just for demanding their rights."
Also, the president expressed his hope that women use the valuable experiences that the Islamic Republic of Iran has gained after the Islamic Revolution regarding women's rights.
