Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stressed Iran’s constant support for the Sunni Muslims in the country warning against Iranophobia and Shiaphobia plans promoted by enemies.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a meeting with delegation of Sunni scholars from Bangladesh, stressed that the hostile plots promoted against the Islamic Republic of Iran is due to its confrontation with the United States, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said, “Enemies are frightened of unity in the world of Islam, the very achievement which empowers Muslims.”
Top scholar expressed regret over those clerics who are allied with the enemies calling on them to join with other Muslims to establish a unified Islamic nation and stand against enemies.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari condemned plans to divide Shia and Sunni communities and said,” Enemies pursue ways to convince the Sunnis that Shia Islam seeks domination over the Muslim world same way they struggle to persuade Shias that Daesh has grown out of the Sunni community.”
He referred to Iran’s resistance against the United States and said,” Our key motto is that Muslims should unite and convene under the banner of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).”
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought warned against the US as a powerful enemy who should neither be underestimated nor yielded to” referring to the efforts by the arrogant powers to loot the natural resources in the developing countries during the past 300 years.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari referred to the Muslim population across the globe and noted,” Once Muslims unite, the arrogant powers cannot impose their policies to the world of Islam and when unity is uprooted, different Islamic countries will be disintegrated.”
“Arrogant powers are seeking ways to illustrate the Muslim world problems as ethnical issues and promote Takfir (excommunication)” said the cleric and added,” When a person refrains from Islam to become an atheist and killed his brother, then they will demand arms to rise against him: therefore, the arrogant powers are in search of ways to divide and annihilate the entire world of Islam.”
Top cleric made the comments in a meeting with Bangladeshi delegation of religious and cultural figures at the headquarter of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the capital Tehran on Tuesday.
