Pres. Raisi terms university best venue to discuss, solve issues

The president considered science and knowledge to be the most important means of guiding and saving human beings and paving the path of human progress, excellence, and reaching happiness and added: "The sanctity and respect of the university is for this reason, so it is up to the presidents, professors, students and all the members of the scientific and academic community to focus their efforts on maintaining and promoting the spirit of science and knowledge generation in universities."
Raisi stated, "The political nature of the university means that the university should know the society and its needs more and better than any other department and align its priorities with the system of the country's issues in order to serve the people."
The president also touched upon the events of recent days in the country, including at the universities, and considered the university to be the best place to discuss the recent events and provide solutions, and added: "The important pre-requisite of these discussions is the correct understanding of the issues. If the issues are not well analyzed or the analyzes are influenced by media and cyber space rather than the truth, the proposed solutions will lead to mistakes."

Reiterating the important point that today's war is a war of narratives, Raisi emphasized the importance of explaining the true and honest narrative and noted: "The enemies who had tried a lot to stop scientific, industrial, production and service activities in the country and Iran's communications with other countries to cut off, when they failed in his action, he started to plot and sabotage."
