Iranian elites to attend meeting on Imam Khomeini and Islamic unity

A number of Iranian clerics and elites will discuss Islamic unity, strategies for achieving solidarity and convergence of Muslims in view of late Imam Khomeini (RA) in their seventh meeting to be held on the eve of the demise anniversary of the late founder of Islamic Revolution.

Titled "Compassionate Ummah", the seventh meeting of the Iranian religious and cultural figures is scheduled to be held on Monday May 30th, as they discuss views of the late leader of Islamic Revolution on a number of issues related to convergence among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Participants to the meeting will discuss two topics the first of which is "Examining the principles of unity from the perspective of Imam Khomeini (RA)."
 
They will also exchange views on "Strategies for achieving unity and convergence of Muslims from the perspective of Imam Khomeini (RA)."
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari Secretary General and Mawlawi Mohammad Ishaq Madani, Vice President of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought are among religious figures to deliver speech at the meeting.
 
Masoud Shajareh, President of the London-based Islamic Human Rights Council and Nasser Gholi Sarli, professor at Kharazmi University will also express their views regarding the two subjects.
 
The seventh session of the “Compassionate Ummah” meetings is held on the eve of the 33rd demise anniversary of the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Rouhollah Khomeini (RA) to be held on June 4th, 2022.
