Iran terms Nakba Day reflection of Zionist regime
This day in the history of Palestine is called Nakba Day (the day of misery).
The Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People under the Presidential Administration of Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement on the occasion of Nakba Day, saying: "Nakba Day is the day when the Zionist enemy has shown its fake identity through its false existence at the cost of shedding the blood of innocent people, endless suffering, destruction of cities and villages, confiscation of lands, development of settlements, destruction of Islamic monuments and holy sites and everything which had a Palestinian and Islamic color and flavor."

Elsewhere, the statement read: "The fake Zionist regime, by continuing to violate the clear rights of the Palestinian people and committing countless crimes, has not given up any hostile attempt to expel as many people as possible from their homes."
The Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People elsewhere stated:
"Although the remembrance of this tragic day is bitter and painful for the Palestinian people, every year on such a day Palestinians and many free people around the world hold rallies and demonstrations to remind the world that this right has been violated and will never be forgotten."
The statement noted: "The fake Zionist regime, by continuing to violate the clear rights of the Palestinian people and committing countless crimes, has not spared any hostile attempt to expel as many people as possible from their homes."
Israeli troops stormed a camp in the West Bank last Wednesday, killing Al Jazeera's Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
The Palestinian journalist was shot in the head by Zionist militants while covering the Zionist attack on the Jenin camp.
