Hamas lambastes US' Blinken interference in internal affairs of Palestine

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the US Secretary of State's interference in Palestinian internal affairs.

According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi on Friday, Basem Naim, the head of Hamas's foreign relations department, said in a statement that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's remarks were a clear and unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Palestine.
 
"It is the Palestinian people who determine their leadership and they do not need foreign guardianship," Basem Naim added.
 
In recent days, the US Secretary of State has had talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.
