29th International Qur'an exhibition opens in Tehran

29th International Qur'an Exhibition has opened in the Iranian capital Tehran on Saturday night concurrent with the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS), the second Shia Imam, after two years.

In a ceremony attended by Iran's Parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili and a number of cultural figures the 29th International Qur'an Exhibition has opened in Grand Mosala Mosque of Tehran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The 29th International Qur'an Exhibition titled "Qur'an, Book of Hope and Peace" is held in 45 sections as several institutions and organizations have collaborated to perform 80 innovative projects during the event.
 
Introduction of the best researchers of Qur'an, Qur'an-based counseling services, international webinars and unveiling the national center for Qur'an translation are among the most important programs in this event.
 
The main sections at the 29th International Qur'an exhibition include sections on children, culture and handicraft, printing and digital section, Hijab and Qur'an institutions.
 
International Qur'an exhibition is annually held during the fasting month of Ramadan however there has been a two-year halt due to the COVID-19 circumstances which led to cancellation of all public gatherings.
 
The 29th International Qur'an exhibition in underway from April 14-29 and the virtual section of the event is also available at iqfa.ir.
