During a meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister, the Croatian Foreign Minister announced the country's readiness to develop and expand economic cooperation with Iran.

The Munich Security Conference is being held for three days from Friday, with officials and security experts from around the world attending.

On Sunday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian continued his meetings with the foreign ministers attending the conference and met with Croatian counterpart Gordan Grlić-Radman.

Expressing regret over the long-term lack of a joint economic commission between the two countries in recent years, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that forming a mechanism for holding a regular economic commission between Iran and Croatia to develop good political relations between the two countries. 

Croatian Foreign Minister, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the Iranian counterpart, emphasizing his country's readiness to develop and expand economic cooperation, including in the field of food, especially the Halal industry in Croatia.
The Croatian Foreign Minister also announced his country's readiness to develop and promote cultural cooperation, including language promotion and education in the two countries.
