Syria foils Israeli air strike on Homs province

Syrian air defenses have foiled a missile attack launched by Israeli army targeting military base in Homs Province intercepting most of the missiles shot from the occupied lands.

According to the Syrian official news agency SANA, Tel Aviv regime army targeted T-4 airbase on Friday evening.
SANA cited an unnamed military source announcing on Friday that the attack began at 9:33 pm on Friday carried out from the direction of al-Tanf area in Homs.
The unnamed source also said that the Syrian air defenses intercepted most of the missiles and that the attack wounded six soldiers and caused some material losses.
Israeli military had targeted Syria early last month as Syrian air defenses managed to destroy 21 out of 24 guided missiles fired from four Israeli Air Force F-15 tactical fighters.
The offense is one of the several aggressions by Israeli military violating Lebanese airspace to launch attack against military positions inside Syria, especially those of the resistance movement Hezbollah.
