Huj. Shahriari expresses condolence over demise of Ayatollah Yazdi
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message following the demise of Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, member of the Assembly of Experts on Thursday.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari has issued a message over passing of the prominent cleric and member of the society of Seminary Teachers of Qom calling that a great loss for the Iranian government and nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He hailed the struggles of late Ayatollah Yazdi before and after the Islamic Revolution and the services he had provided in different arenas.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari praised the late scholar for loyalty to the Supreme Leader and also his brave defense of the Islamic values.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought the great services by late Ayatollah Yazdi in different executive positions since early days of the Islamic Revolution naming in the judiciary, the Assembly of Expert, Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom and the Guardians Council will remain in his brilliant record or services.
Born in Isfahan in 1931, Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi formerly headed Iran’s Judiciary for a decade between 1989 and 1999.
Late Ayatollah Yazdi, aged 89, passed away on Wednesday due to digestive system problems. His body was laid to rest in the holy city of Qom on Thursday.
