Lebanon's Islamic Tawhid Movement:

"Ayatollah Taskhiri promoted resistance, liberation of Palestine"

Sheikh Bilal Saeed Shaban, Secretary General of Lebanon's Islamic Tawhid Movement, has released a condolence message expressing sympathy over passing of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, Iranian senior cleric and advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs.

Senior Lebanese scholar in his message addressed the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Iranian nation and World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought calling the late proximity figure as a pillar of Islamic unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
"He was a pillar of Islamic unity who made several trips across the globe in line with restructuring Islamic solidarity" said the Lebanese scholar and hailed the late cleric's resistance against the arrogant powers.
 
Secretary General of Lebanon's Islamic Tawhid Movement lauded Ayatollah Taskhiri performing as the connecting ring among all Islamic denominations and long affinity between the late scholar and Lebanese religious figures.
 
"Ayatollah Taskhiri believed Islamic unity as the sole way to honor of Islamic nation" said Sheikh Bilal Saeed Shaban.
 
He highlighted the efforts of former secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for liberation of Palestine and found liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque as the meeting point of all members in Islamic nation and stressed that honor of Muslims would be meaningless without liberation of holy Quds Mosque.
 
Lebanon's secretary General of Islamic Tawhid Movement sent the condolence message following the passing of prominent Iranian cleric, advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim World Affairs and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
 
Ayatollah Taskhiri passed away due to heart disease in Tehran. His body was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS), in Qom.
