Imam Khomeini (RA), flag bearer of Islamic unity across globe
Iran’s major Islamic unity center has issued a statement on 31st passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA) calling the late founder of Islamic revolution as flag bearer of Islamic solidarity.

World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a statement on 31st passing anniversary of Seyyed Rouhollah Khomeini hailing the late leader’s endeavors to promote solidarity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The statement referred to the unparalleled challenges of Islam in the modern world which has led to its losing much of its capabilities in the confrontation saying,” The major weak point for the world of Islam, in this historical confrontation is infiltration of the colonial powers in much of Islamic lands.”
Another part of the statement warned of intrigues as the other repercussion of the infiltration and said, ”During the past two centuries, the worldly concerns of some Muslim rulers has hurdled formation of any effective solidarity among Muslims, though Imam Khomeini (RA) showed salvation in both his thoughts and political strategies.”
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in this message hailed Imam Khomeini (RA) as a pupil trained in school of holy Qur’an whose thoughts and deeds were practice of Islamic unity.
“World Muslims have several instances of his unifying thoughts and practices in their history since late Imam Khomeini (RA) was the flag bearer of Islamic solidarity across the globe” read another part of the message.
Another part of the message hailed the inspiration of late Imam Khomeini for recognition of the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day which united Shia and Sunni Muslims across the globe to defend the Palestine cause.
The statement stressed serious need for Islamic unity and also urging for a civilization rather than political leaders whose flag is currently carried by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
Led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought issued the message on 31st passing anniversary of Imam Khomeini to hail the late legendry leader whose lifestyle and political thoughts are still followed by people across the globe.
