Meeting Union of Ulama of the World of Islam

On the third day of the Islamic Unity Conference being held in Tehran, the meeting of the Union of Ulama of the World of Islam took place with Ayatollah Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought in attendance.

According to Taghrib News Agency, ayatollah Araki speaking at the gathering said the Almighty God has said that I have appointed the great individuals as leader and others should follow them.
He said Resistance Ulama are among the pioneers of Islamic Ummah and have internalized and adopted the resistance culture in their life and all those who promote the good and prohibit the wrong are considered as the real scholars of resistance and they are appropriate models to be imitated by others.
Ayatollah Taskhiri, adviser to Supreme Leader on Affairs of the Islamic World also speaking at the same gathering said Islamic thinkers and scholars should fulfill their responsibilities to bring about unity within the Islamic World.
