Assembly of Muslim Students has held its meeting on the eve of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference as top cleric hails the resistance front over its victories.

Chaired by Hujjat-ul-Islam Rostami, representative of the Supreme Leader in Universities and attended by Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and a number of elite students from across the world of Islam Assembly of Muslim Students has held meeting in Tehran’s Azadi Hotel, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki in this meeting hailed the Islamic Unity Week as an opportunity to restore the honor to the Islamic nation empowering Muslims to liberate Palestine and beat the world arrogant powers.
 
He said,” As enemies clearly announce their ambitions, annihilation of Syria, Saudi petrodollars and ending the Palestine issue manifests the desperation of enemies and victory of the resistance front.”
 
Secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought noted that the resistance in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq has achieved victory and said,” We can claim that Takfir (excommunication) is marginalized and proximity is the dominant discourse.”
 
A number of elite students from 27 Islamic countries including Soheila Zakzaky, daughter of Nigeria’s Shia leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, Fatima Moqnia and Uthman al-Hakim from Yemen were among the participants to this meeting in Tehran.
 
The meeting was held on the eve of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference which is scheduled to be held on November 14-16, 2019 in Tehran.
