Nigerian preacher stresses:

“Desecration of religious sanctities threatens coexistence, peace”

A Nigerian activist has condemned desecration of holy Qur’an in Sweden warning of sacrilege for challenging peace and coexistence in societies.
“Desecration of religious sanctities threatens coexistence, peace”
Yaghoub Abdul Naqi, preacher and executive at al-Taqrib Foundation in Bauchi, Nigeria, has slammed the Iraqi national for burning a copy of Qur’an as authorized by the Sweden government in strongest terms, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He also denounced the court for authorizing the desecration and provoking millions of Muslims across the globe under the pretext of freedom of speech.

Abdul Naqi said,” It is not acceptable that anyone can be authorized to disrespect a person, violate the Swedish government law or the country’s flag under the name of practicing freedom.”

This is an uncivilized measure that undermines peace and coexistence either in Sweden or in any other country.

“Such absurd measures will never undervalue the holy book of Islam” said the Nigerian activist and added,” It will only satisfy the evil within the hearts of desecrators.
