Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said the International Quds Day is the time to show the solidarity and determination in Muslim world.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sideline of his visit to the 30th International Qur’an Exhibition hailed the International Quds Day as a day for Muslims to move towards the Qur’anic objective, establishment of the unified Islamic ummah.
 
He said,” In fact International Quds Day is a day for manifestation of glory determination of Muslims to defeat the arrogant powers.”
 
He added,” Palestine and al-Quds are axes of resistance and Islamic unity; therefore, now that the occupying Israeli regime is approaching its final days, serious cooperation of the elites and thinkers is of more importance.”
 
Top cleric noted,” The resistance front, during the past ten years, has boosted its power while the arrogant front is weakening every day.”
 
International Quds Day is marked on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan as proposed by late Imam Khomeini (RA). People across the globe mark the commemorate the day to condemn decades of Israeli aggressions on Palestinian nation and holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
